The Timestone License Server has been relocated to PrintTime1 following a software upgrade. If you experience a problem aquiring a license for your Timestone product, open your Timestone License Manager (Start >Programs >Timestone Software >License Manager) and make sure it points to “PT1″.  If you are responsible for for closing down the printer at night, please make sure you do not shut down PrintTime1 as all licenses will be terminated.

Timestone Chroma Key Training information is now available on this site. The Timestone movies, manuals, and links are posted on the Chroma Key page.

All of the new “green screen” backgrounds are now loaded into the intranet.  They are located at \\Sd2007\SupportFiles\Pictures\Backgrounds\New Backgrounds.  Please get out your Chroma Key Module manuals, build templates and practice!

Monthly View

A new calendar has been installed on the Belmont Support web site.  The public view (default) will be viewable by everyone.  On it can be posted important dates for faculty members and students.  Deadlines, studio holidays, and seasonal information are examples.

In the private view, it may be used as an appointment calendar for shooting assignments, a personal calendar, or a communication tool between the studio and the schools or faculty members.

It has built-in email notifications, RSS feed capibility, import and export, and countless other features.   See more details at http://www.k5n.us/webcalendar.php.

The Chroma Key Module is loaded and available for production for all lab personel.  There will be schools shot with this method within the next few weeks.  Everyone should have watched training video and received manuals.  If you are a printer or photographer, now is the time to make sure you are ready for production.

The Taylor Export  Routine in our production software creates images in a 72 dpi size. In the future, all Taylor Publishing CDs will be exported exclusively in the PSPAi yearbook format.  This will produce 300 dpi images and provide a better product for our clients.

Do you need web access to sites which are necessary for production? To request access to a web site from within the Belmont Studios Intranet, you may send an email to: siterequest@belmontsupport.com.  Please use “Site Request” as the subject and include a link to the site in the body of your email request.

In an effort to improve support, this blog will serve as the new front page for the Belmont Studios Support Site.  Please be patient while we update our site.  All of the features of the old site will be added as well as new and improved features.   Look for the completion within the next couple of weeks.

Look for more changes in the near future.
